An independent fan guide
This website helps English-speaking players find the original game, understand its documented progression and make sense of early class reports. It is not the game’s official website and is not affiliated with Aethus or Blizzard Entertainment.
The original game is at wow.aethus.pl ↗. The community Discord ↗ is linked from the launch announcement for local downloads and updates. Our homepage can load the original game from its creator’s host in an embedded player. We do not mirror game code, installers or game data.
How we label information
- Documented information: claims supported by the original announcement or creator-linked destinations, with a source link.
- Community observations: player experiences, identified as anecdotes and kept separate from test results.
- Editorial guidance: our suggested learning and comparison methods, without a claim that they are optimized game strategies.
- Unverified information: details for which we do not have current, version-specific evidence. We omit invented numbers and leave class rankings unassigned.
We have not completed controlled gameplay tests. The original character selector was also inspected directly at v0.91.0 (0d319264). Review dates describe when the sources were checked; they are not game patch dates. We do not claim a live connection to the creator’s changelog.

On October 15, 2026, the original website completed its initial download and reached the character selector. The footer displayed v0.91.0 (0d319264). We inspected all nine classes, their starting spells, displayed health and selected races with empty equipment and 0/51 talent points. We also read the selector’s control help. This does not establish completed combat tests or support across every browser.
Why the reconstruction is separate
The community repository explicitly credits Aethus and describes a local from-source recreation. Its documentation can establish that project’s features; it cannot confirm the original game’s current class values, save behavior or controls. We do not use reconstruction data as original-game playtesting.
Privacy & artwork
The optional run notebook saves text in your browser’s local storage. It does not send those notes to us. Clearing site data removes the saved note. Browser rules can affect storage access for embedded websites; we have not verified save parity between embedded play and visiting the original directly. Continue on the original if you want to use an established save there. There is no account system or ad-serving script in this edition. Google Analytics 4 measures visits and page interactions on azerothsurvivors.cc. Google may use analytics cookies and receive usage and device information; see Google’s privacy policy ↗. Run notebook text is not included in our analytics events. Loading the embedded player connects your browser to wow.aethus.pl; that site controls the game, downloads and its own storage behavior. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts; external play and community links take you to their respective services.
The fantasy backgrounds and character portraits are original AI-generated guide illustrations. The player cover is our capture of the original v0.91.0 character selector from October 15, 2026; the rendered Warcraft artwork belongs to Blizzard Entertainment. Game code and data are loaded from Aethus’s host, not mirrored here. The class and interface icons are original World of Warcraft artwork by Blizzard Entertainment, sourced from the public icon references used by Talents Forever. These icons are not AI-generated and their use does not imply affiliation. The original guide illustrations do not represent an actual map or encounter. The game and World of Warcraft trademarks belong to their respective owners.
